California Dream Week is a sustainability design competition... but not only!
CADW funds higher education scholarships for teens, and also provides funds to high schools facilitating student creativity and a culture of sustainability. Any high school junior or senior can participate, regardless of grades.
Launched in 2010, California students compete for scholarships and a chance to star in one of 9 art show exhibits during the CADW Festival. These exhibits demonstrate how professionals around the world have been inspired by their dreams.
California Dream Week has received international recognition for inspiring teens to dream of a better world, for bringing teens in contact with an international community and revealing how their dreams can inspire professionals in surprising ways.
California Dream Week, a yearly Festival, shines a light on this movement for positive change. It provides a venue for people interested in sustainability, art, design, youth, and green technologies to converge, to appreciate the art exhibits, to help support this important scholarship program, and to experience first-hand the beauty of Chico and see why it has become one of the nation's sustainability hot spots.
So thanks for being a part of our movement, be sure to come out and enjoy the fun!
