NEWS BLAST!! 2012 - 2013 California Dream Week Competition Registration Starts August 20th, 2012

IT'S HERE AGAIN - FINALLY!

California Dream Week is a new scholarship program, now in its 3rd edition, rewarding Juniors and Seniors from California high schools with scholarships AND their schools with cash awards.

In its 2nd edition, students from 39 schools in 12 Northern California counties participated, and in awards were $5450 given to students AND schools from Alameda, Butte, El Dorado, Glenn, Sacramento and Santa Clara counties.

Students are invited to register now! Early registration increases the possibility of California Dream Week visiting your school.

Students compete by submitting no later than March 20, 2013, their ideas focused on sustainability in 3 core areas (architecture & interior product design, transportation, product compliments/industrial design).

The winning student ideas will be shared with international designers from around the world who will graphically celebrate the winning designs based upon their own cultural experience and professional know-how.

The projects will be on display during the Spring 2013 California Dream Week Festival in Chico California - one of the nation's hot beds of sustainability.

Available student scholarships total $5250. Funds derived from Festival Passport sales and other Festival activities will be awarded to the schools of the winning students. Encourage your friends and colleagues to visit our Facebook page and give us a "like", and encourage everyone to purchase a Festival Passport online.

Festival Passport sales generated through community support help assure exciting school awards and a feeling of excitement about the Festival and about the hard work done by the students and professional designers alike! California Dream Week can also offer your school the opportunity to directly sell Festival Passports and give a portion of each passport sale directly to your school.

Students and schools wishing further contest information may read the Call for Entries online, or send an email to info@californiadreamweek.org, or call 530-554-2279 | 530-898-8009.

Tax deductible contributions may be made by clicking our "Donate" button at the top of our web page, or by sending a check to California Dream Week.
